Description of Power(s):

Persuasion-The ability to bend and control a person's will by using certain tonal inflections of the user's voice. The user may also make a person forget using another inflection. Otherwise, the victim will have knowledge that he/she had been controlled.

Siren:This allows the user to charm and entrance a person with song. This ability focuses on seduction and allure, drawing their prey into their web. Along the same lines, they also have a Lullaby, which relaxes the target completely, causing all fight to leave the body, leaving him or her completely calm and content.

Limitations:His power is vocally based, so if one is able to keep him from speaking/singing, the power is halted. It can be done simply by covering his mouth or even specialy made ear plugs to block the sound. He must also be present for his powers to work. He cannot affect a person via phone or recording.


Personality
Yoochun is a very easygoing guy who doesn't allow much to bother him. He is the type to let things go in one ear and out the other. Not the most trusting person, he deals with people as individuals. One Human won't make him hate Humanity, just as a single Gifted won't make him hate other Gifted.

He tends to close himself off to a degree emotionally. He is well aware that he is never fully trusted, and people always question whether he's manipulating them or not.

Music, however, is his exception to everything. He is most passionate when he sings and/or plays piano. He invests his heart, mind, and soul into his craft and is known to lock himself in his room for long periods of time just composing or writing.


Background
Yoochun is the eldest of two. Born mute, Yoochun was quick to adapt to his situation. He learned sign language when he was old enough to communicate and also learned how to write at an extremely young age.

His mother had bought him a tiny keyboard for his birthday when he turned five and he soon began using that to communicate his moods, as well. It was that small gift that had introduced him to music. In fact, he still has the small keyboard to this day.

A short time later, Yoochun's brother Yoohwan was born. His parents were overjoyed to hear his voice unlike they had with their eldest, but they didn't love him any less. Yoochun and Yoohwan grew up to be nearly inseparable, despite the five year age difference.

One day, shortly after Yoochun had turned fourteen, he witnessed his brother being bullied. Without thinking, he yelled at them to stop...and they did. It was as if they were possessed in the way their movements had frozen. Taking his brother's hand, Yoochun and Yoohwan ran away, the bullies moving soon after.

After explaining things to his parents, things changed drastically. While in their presence, Yoochun was not allowed to speak at all. He could only communicate using sign language, and would be struck otherwise. He soon began to hate his violent father and neglectful mother, yet his brother had never once turned his back on him, helping him master speech. Luckily, his brain seemed to have retained the language, and it went relatively quickly.

Six months after the discovery of his voice and one gift, another appeared. His Siren ability was one that caused much pain for him. Having little control over his gifts, he was attacked and subsequently raped by a fellow student in his old school when the power activated accidentally. He never told a soul, not even his brother, to whom he told everything. It was that very attack that altered Yoochun's already skewed perception. He shut himself off more and practiced all day, every day until he had ironclad control over both powers.

Not long after, a representative from Kwang Ju Acadamy contacted him by phone. After learning all he could about the school, he packed his bags and left in the middle of the night. As a gift, Yoohwan had bought them both cell phones so that they would still keep in regular contact without their parents' interference.
